The call for papers deadline for the book "Towards a transdisciplinary technology of Business Intelligence: Joining Discovering Knowledge, Knowledge Management and Decision Making" runs until January 15, 2010. The book will bring together several papers of the aforementioned areas, showing the separation of scientific groups that address these issues and their current tendency to link concepts and methods. |

The first International Workshop on Semantics and Knowledge Discovery will be held at the Royal Decameron Playa Blanca Hotel, Panama City, from 4th to November 11, 2009. It will be organized by the Iberoamerican Network of Knowledge Discovery (Eureka Latin America), Project Evaluation and Enhancement of Spatial Data Infrastructure in Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Department of Business Informatics at the University of Oldenburg. |
